I realize I've taken quite a hiatus from DA without really meaning to, but in that time I've amassed a large number of new portfolio pieces I can't wait to share! I've continued freelancing in the Boston area doing wigs for high school shows (they pay very well!), fashion makeup for websites and models, head shot photography for actors, and of course my own personal costuming projects. I spent most of last year earning my Level 1 Cosmetology License and school took up almost all of my time for personal work. I wanted this license as a supplement to my theatrical degrees since it speaks more to the Beauty and everyday side of what I do inste

I bought a Canon Rebel EOS T2i this past winter and have been using it to record high-quality images of my makeup and hair work for clients since then. I'm very happy with the results and my friends have made great subjects, happy to model for me and in some cases, launch their careers with the images! I've now done head-shots for actors, models, dancers, and musicians with lots of pin-up-inspired shoots on the side ; ) I'm very happy to have control over my projects, from how the makeup and hair (and some cases, costumes I've designed) look and what can be done as far as edits and usage of the final product. I was cheated out of many TFP sh

Tag-Along

0 min read
One of my best friends gave me this tag challenge, so here I go! Rules: 1. You must post these rules. 2. Each person must post 11 things about themselves in their journal. 3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer. 4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and post their icons on your journal. 5. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged him/her. 6. No tag backs. 7. No stuff in the tagging section about "you are tagged if you are reading this." You legitimately have to tag 11 people. 1. Which one of your deviations is your favorite? "Headdress Glo

Hi! I was wondering where you got your Ichigo wig? *v*
Hi,

I bought it at a small costume store in Boston called Dorothy's Boutique. You could try sites like Vogue Wigs or just look on Amazon; some of those are really nice. Happy wigging! ; )
Hey, I've actually been in RAW Boston myself! I looked you up specifically because my friend is selling some theatre props, and he's wondering if there's a specific place he could sell them to in the Boston area. Weird question, I know. Thought you may know. Thanks!
That's great! Thanks for looking me up : ) I'm not sure of a specific props place in Boston for your friend, but a former professor of mine at Emerson College, Ron DeMarco, may know as he was my Props professor. I don't have direct contact info for him, but your friend could always look up his email online or call the college and request to speak to him. Good luck!
I was wondering where did you get your costume for your ichigo cosplay or did you make it
I made it from scratch! It's the first one I attempted that with and I made the pattern on myself as well
Hauq Kure appreciates you faving his portrait!
