I am a makeup artist, costume, wig and jewelry designer who recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College with a BFA in Costume Design and a specialty in Wigs and Makeup.
I mainly work in theatre and opera but also specialize in drag and beauty makeup for special occasions such as weddings and Bat Mitzvahs, head shots, and print work.
I love to craft and create specialized millinery work such as headpieces and masks for original characters.

I bought a Canon Rebel EOS T2i this past winter and have been using it to record high-quality images of my makeup and hair work for clients since then. I'm very happy with the results and my friends have made great subjects, happy to model for me and in some cases, launch their careers with the images! I've now done head-shots for actors, models, dancers, and musicians with lots of pin-up-inspired shoots on the side ; )

I'm very happy to have control over my projects, from how the makeup and hair (and some cases, costumes I've designed) look and what can be done as far as edits and usage of the final product. I was cheated out of many TFP shoots I did last year with photographers who either refused to do any retouches on the work when there was unflattering lighting, or to release/show me the full project we'd collaborated on, or to send me the finished images at all! That's why I decided to invest in my good camera and eventually, a home lighting studio setup which I am extremely happy with.

This fall, I'll be starting at the New England Hair Academy in Malden, MA to earn my Cosmetology license. This is mainly to gain skills in hair cutting, coloring and styling and to be able to keep my rates consistent so clients won't try to bargain with me. I'm confident in my abilities and am told that my work is worth the money, so with a degree, hopefully people won't contradict that by trying to cheat me out of my time and talent. I'm looking forward to expanding my horizons on all fronts and hope you continue to enjoy the fruits of my labors on here!
