I am a makeup artist, costume, wig and jewelry designer who recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College with a BFA in Costume Design and a specialty in Wigs and Makeup.
I mainly work in theatre and opera but also specialize in drag and beauty makeup for special occasions such as weddings and Bat Mitzvahs, head shots, and print work.
I love to craft and create specialized millinery work such as headpieces and masks for original characters.

I realize I've taken quite a hiatus from DA without really meaning to, but in that time I've amassed a large number of new portfolio pieces I can't wait to share!

I've continued freelancing in the Boston area doing wigs for high school shows (they pay very well!), fashion makeup for websites and models, head shot photography for actors, and of course my own personal costuming projects.

I spent most of last year earning my Level 1 Cosmetology License and school took up almost all of my time for personal work. I wanted this license as a supplement to my theatrical degrees since it speaks more to the Beauty and everyday side of what I do instead of sounding specifically related to heavy stage looks. I am able to cut and color hair or provide salon services, but I mainly just wanted to reach out to bridal and fashion clients with a more diverse skill set in hair and grooming.

This year has been full of work for friend's weddings and costuming for Halloween and various conventions already! In just 8 weeks, I completed 5 full costumes and am already into making 4 more by the spring for PAX East and Anime Boston! To be fair, my work has had to increase as I'm now costuming for two ; )

No, I'm not pregnant; but I did meet my soulmate last year and lucky for me, he's a huge sci-fi/fantasy nerd who enjoys indulging my creative side and playing the characters I make him into. I know you won't be disappointed when you finally see our collaborative efforts from these last few months, soon to be posted! (*he was the Voldemort in my Cosplay album, fyi ; )

So thank you for following my work and being patient for new projects to come. I love being part of this creative community amongst fellow artistic deviants and hope to be here for a long time!

Hi,

I bought it at a small costume store in Boston called Dorothy's Boutique. You could try sites like Vogue Wigs or just look on Amazon; some of those are really nice. Happy wigging! ; )

Hey, I've actually been in RAW Boston myself! I looked you up specifically because my friend is selling some theatre props, and he's wondering if there's a specific place he could sell them to in the Boston area. Weird question, I know. Thought you may know. Thanks!

That's great! Thanks for looking me up : ) I'm not sure of a specific props place in Boston for your friend, but a former professor of mine at Emerson College, Ron DeMarco, may know as he was my Props professor. I don't have direct contact info for him, but your friend could always look up his email online or call the college and request to speak to him. Good luck!
